For that reason, these fundamentals t...

With everyone obsessed with topspin, dealing with a ball by your ankles becomes very problematic for a lot of players. This video walks you through some of the keys to hitting that knifing slice. 1. Point of Contact - In front of your body, away from your body, in the center of the sweet spot. Usually this is with your arm around the 45 degree angle into the court. 2. Preparation - Racket is ab...

The Problem With "Improve To Win More" My Worst Loss Ever!
Great video tutorial Ramon! Thanks
There’s one thing you’re all missing. Nadal is right handed. If money were on the line he would kick a 50 yard field goal with his right foot. This means his left foot naturally has better balance. Additionally it’s the same thing with Shohei Ohtani/ Babe Ruth and the right hand pitching left hand batting. His eyes look the ball into the racket on his forehand whereas on the backhand he is clearly looking where the ball will go on contact. Pause the videos. Also his left brain is cluttered with all the minutiae of how to write, hold chopsticks, brush teeth etc. His right brain just thinks swing that racket. I played tennis as a lefty growing up and tried to copy to no avail. After wrist surgery I’ve been relearning righty lately and mirroring the style works.
Good one
Phenomenal content
Good job and thank you for the video. I've been using it for a year now. It's become an essential part of my cool-down routine and staying injury-free.
Thank you
Great video, thanks!!
My biggest challenge is mental, how to stay calm and cool and confident when other player is on a roll. I start to get rattled and miss shots that normally I can hit.
I hear ya, Reed!
Here's another interesting statistic: in 2018, when the "professor" began assisting Djokovic with his ideas about limiting rallies to four shots, Novak won only four titles for the entire year. In all other years, it was between five to ten titles per year. And here's one more statistic for you: at present, the average rally length for the top 100 ATP players is 4.7 shots or more. I verified this myself. That's almost five shots per rally on average, not 3.3.
great! could u link to the post match conference after the nadal-dustin match that u mentioned that u saw?
Great interview. Lenny on fire. How best to use it? As is? Or edit into chunks as part of auto responder?
Ramon could you please record the victory jig in slow mo so I can get it right?😂
LOL
3:37 - Start
Great tips for the toss improvement!!!!
It helps a lot thanks
Page not found on all your links.
where is the wrist pronation? u dont need that in the slice?
Hey Henry! The pronation happens after contact (and automatically)
@@winningtennis4914 seems it was absent in your demo, nor you mention nothing about this important part. Pronation only happens automatically when the stroke is "right"
men of culture, welcome back
I love how bubbly and enthusiastic Trish is to learn. Excited to see her journey! Reminds me of Anna from Intuitive Tennis
Great video! The newbie is gorgeous
Riveting! How to build in great habits whist having FUN. Great job Ramon,
You nailed it, Mark! Great habits = progress! Progress is fun. Also great habits = winning under pressure. ALSO fun 🤩
Great outfit, I'll be back for more.
nice. very interested in how to teach absolute adult beginners. Keep going with Trish!
Thanks Slowbeat! We will do
Let’s go Trish! Nice job, Coach Ramon!
How do we go around the ball for spin, yet pronate the racquet head at the same time? 🤔
Ah! The pronation happens AFTER contact
@@winningtennis4914 But what is the effect of pronation post-contact?
Great video. Love the tongue Tyler!! This helped me beat my mom in a match!👏👏
👅 😜 LOL!!! Good job, K!
Well explained, thank you!
You’re welcome Pauly! Thanks for watching
Basically when you are about to hit the ball go down
Down and through!
Really good advice and super funny at the same time 😂! Subscribed 👏🏻
Thanks mate!! Appreciate your kind words :)
Ramon you are fabulous
Lol! Thanks Michele :)

❤️❤️❤️
You're the only coach I've found who covers this topic. Good shout!
Thanks for watching, Noel!
Great video Ramon! This one helped me!
Thanks Mike! I’m glad it helped… and thanks for tuning in
This was so helpful, thank you! I played so much better on Friday as a result of this video
That’s awesome! Glad it helped… and thanks for watching!
Hey coach, in all of your hits, at contact your hitting shoulder is behind your non-hitting shoulder, shouldn't you be more square to the net or even having the hitting shoulder aread like the pros?
Hi Henry, thanks for the question. This orientation will depend on the stance. In this example, we are in a neutral stance, (feet more or less parallel to the doubles alley)… but in a semi open or open stance, you’re right! Most importantly, this is a feeling you have to experience… once you feel it, you’ve got it. Thanks for your question and watching!
Great, issues w keeping eyes down and nose at ball as straighten left leg on forehand!
Thanks Jim, and thanks for tuning in! Sounds like you’re aware of the problem. Let me know if I can help :)
Possibly your best video EVER.
Thanks Mark :) I appreciate you
Active footwork is important in match situation to avoid getting jammed
Yes!!
Awesome content! More please!
Love the expressions😛😁👍
LOL! Thanks 😜
Thank you Ramon, your tips are so clear and helpful. I notice the you "pat the dog" in the takeback is very impotant to get good power and top spin.
This is the best tip for the groundstrokes....
Glad it helped you, Hernan. Thanks for watching!
gracias por responder Ramon....Bendiciones¡@@winningtennis4914
Love the Inner Game advice - excellent advice
Glad it was helpful!
Great video
Thanks!
Great advice. Thanks a lot coach.
Thanks, do these grips apply to Pickleball too?
Yes!!
Great explanation - very clear. Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
Every video that analyzes Stan’s one hand forgets to say the big reason why his back hand are like bombs. His swing weight on his racquet is very heavy. Almost up to 370g. All big time hitters are head heavy
Still haven't heard of this in 2023
A lot of great ideas. Very good tutorial.
Thank you! Cheers!
